My mom asked me to take my little brother's senior pictures (yea that makes me feel old lol). Here are some of my favorites, I think they turned out pretty good!

The new puppy

This is our new puppy, her name is Pandora. The only way i can get her to hold still for pictures right now is to tire her out completely lol. Then she will lay still for a couple of minutes.

I'm still alive and well I promise. Things have been crazy busy around here so I haven't had time to get out and shot anything. It's really great, all the little beautiful things you can find if you just stop and focus on the smaller things. If you really take the blinders off and take in the world around you there is always something to see.

P.S. I think I finally have the whole super macro without a tripod down! Thanks for all of your tips guys!

Attitude Problem

What began as an innocent attempt to capture some of the wildlife that lives around my house soon turned into a full blown "hollywood starlet chewing out the paparazzi" event in my front yard. This little guy lives in a bird house that I built for him above our old well house. In my efforts to capture him preening he decided I was much much to close to his family, and certainly didn't hesitate in telling me all about it while randomly dive bombing my head. Most of the time he is really happy to see me...I promise.

Playing with Macro

My efforts to get comfortable with the super macro mode on my camera. Its a fun feature but its going to take some effort to perfect it without a tripod.
