Attitude Problem

What began as an innocent attempt to capture some of the wildlife that lives around my house soon turned into a full blown "hollywood starlet chewing out the paparazzi" event in my front yard. This little guy lives in a bird house that I built for him above our old well house. In my efforts to capture him preening he decided I was much much to close to his family, and certainly didn't hesitate in telling me all about it while randomly dive bombing my head. Most of the time he is really happy to see me...I promise.

Playing with Macro

My efforts to get comfortable with the super macro mode on my camera. Its a fun feature but its going to take some effort to perfect it without a tripod.

Bring May (or April) snow storms

April Showers ...

Well here it is the middle of April and its snowed in Colorado...again. But we didn't just get snow...no here we like to get in at least 3 seasons per day. So parts of CO got snow (we got 11 inches at our house) Denver north got rain, and lots of it. And eastern CO was dotted with tornados. If there is still snow left when I get home i'm going to post some pictures!

I am helping put toghether a Relay for Life in June. These Luminaria bags were decorated by local 3rd graders to help light the track during the 12 hour walk to raise money for cancer research.
